christopher was a loving son and brother who was sadly taken from this earth on 16 november 2001.
christopher had lost his battle with leukemia which he had only been diagnosed with 6 weeks earlier. he was a fighter right to the end and was the bravest child that we knew. we miss christopher so much and wish that we could have had just a little more time with him. christopher was only 8 but had done more in those 8 years than some people do in a lifetime. christopher had many friends and family who thought the world of him and he touched so many peoples hearts. anyone who says that time will heal the pain of losing a child obviously have never lost a child themselves. it is nearly 8 years since christopher passed away but it still feels like last week, you learn to move on a little bit but the hurt ,pain and memories of your child will be with you forever.

The lights are blinking merrily
The tinsel’s on the tree
It sits there in the window
For all the world to see.
The house is filled with holly
And pinecones scent the air
The Christmas cards keep coming
Each one is hung with care.
The gifts are tied with ribbons red

As far as Christmas goes.

I miss the child I cannot see
And long for him to be with me.
There is no way to touch, it seems,
Save when I see him in my dreams.

This child that has gone out of sight,

He walks among the trees, at break of day.

I can't believe it's been 10 years since you where took from us :(
It feels like only yesterday me and you where playing airplanes in the wee room at nanas lol
It hurts so much that your not here, there is never a day that goes by when I don't think about you, you will be in my heart forever.
I miss you so much but I know you are at peace now and wouldn't want us to get upset.
